Haagen Daze redesign thought and process.
July 12, 2010
The successful part of the original website is that they have very simple and clean website that has no containing any complicate bottoms or flash. So I want keep their simple and clean concepts because ours audience are for all of the gender who love ice cream. But I want to make the website more interactive, that way can make the customers can interact with each other. The first thing I change is take out the video they have on their first page, and make two ads on their, and make the a columns on the bottom that shows all of their website, and also has the rate on each product. And for the navigation, I keep it sample, I only doing the roll over, so the customers can know they are selecting that part of the navigation.
Then I make another page that is the product page. I keep it still very simple, I got a different color of the background of the product on the navigation to point out the viewer is in the product page of this website, and I make the right site columns has a small ads that will shuffle by itself, that will show the viewer the new events or promotion that this website has.
I will work on more of the log in part of the website, so the customers can save their receipts of their own ice cream, or they can publish it and share with another customers, and they can rate their favorite ice cream.

And also when I draw out on the paper, it will be easy to fix it, rather then fix it on the computers, and when i work it in my digital prototype, I can easily to get the proportion, the placement of the object that I wanted.
